I'm currently a student at Columbus College of Art an Design working towards my BFA in Illustration. My main career goal is to publish my own comics and graphic novels. |
But on a more personal note the reason I draw today is because when I was little I used to watch basically any cartoons I could, and I actually refused to watch anything that wasn't a cartoon. I was fascinated by them and thought I was looking into a window of a world that was actually a place I might be able to go to. Needless to say I was sad it they weren't really worlds. Once I was told they were actually drawings and that a lot of times the shows I watch were originally comics or manga. I became hooked on them, though manga more so than american comics.
From there I read manga and other comics so much that I even started making my own in as early as elementary school. Basically, ever since then I knew what I wanted to do. I definitely found my calling. But it wasn't actually as simple as that. I also dealt with major unmediated depression growing up and drawing was basically all I had, or at least all I cared about. And if it weren't for art and the freedom I had to continue draw regularly, I don't know what kind of person I would be today.
Now that's enough about me. Please, I hope you enjoy my page and have a wonderful day!
